In Vivo Study: Evaluation of a Novel Caries Detecting Oral Rinse
GreenMark Biomedical recently published an in vivo study in the journal, BDJ Online. The study evaluated the quality of GreenMark’s product LumiCare™ Caries Detection Rinse. We researched if active caries “were more likely to have positive LC Rinse response than sound surfaces and inactive caries.”
The results of the study demonstrate that LC Rinse does distinguish between active caries and “can augment caries detection with high sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic accuracy.”
